I recommend it if you work @ an ICU.
I bought this app last night, and used it today. I needed to run an infusion of precedex on a non-prgrammable pump. All I had to do was choose the patients weight, the drug, and the app calculated the bolus dose and had the whole range of infusion dosages available to me. Its a no-brainer. By my mistake I thought that precedex wasnt listed in the database, and the developer replied to my comment on his website within the hour, and told me to look under its generic name. Im dumb :)
Like the app gonna give 5 stars. Just keep the updates rolling.
Downloaded the app at the end of my last shift. Currently using it to manage 9 drips on 3 different pts. Love the way I can graph my titration! I can view my trends as well as essentially document at the bedside with just a few taps and then plug the info into my computer charting later. Big time saver! No pre calculation required. Ive recommended to several colleagues already, theyve been playing with it and theyve all purchased it. Thanks for developing it. Looking forward to updates :)
This is a great app for the adult ICU, but not a pediatric ICU. Only whole numbers can be used, and nothing under 10kg. Please make an update with these modifications!
